The City Council and Chamber of Commerce called for a line from Abbots Wood to the vicinity of Castle Hill (near Edgar Tower), while the B & G Co suggested a line from Spetchley, to go south of Spetchley Park, near Duck Brook, to terminate near the Albion Inn, Bath Road.
